El próximo lanzamiento del álbum a dúo que lleva por título How To Turn The Moon plasmará el encuentro de dos pianistas de excepción: Angelica Sanchez y Marilyn Crispell.
La compositora, pianista y educadora estadounidense Angelica Sanchez acredita colaboraciones con Wadada Leo Smith, Paul Motian, Richard Davis, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Nicole Mitchell, Rob Mazurek, Matt Bauder, Tim Berne, Chad Taylor, Sunny Kim, Harris Eisenstadt y Mario Pavone, entre muchos otros.
Además, mantiene un consolidado enlace musical con el guitarrista mexicano Omar Tamez que se cristaliza en sendos trabajos como dúo (Días de Sol y Floresta) y también compartiendo liderazgo en el Kaheri Quartet; asimismo, trabaja en trío con Tony Malaby y Tom Rainey (Alive in Brooklyn y Alive in Brooklyn Vol 2), graba en sociedad con Wadada Leo Smith el álbum Twine Forest de 2013 y comparte créditos con Mark Sanders y Paul Dunmall en el recientemente editado A Songbirds Temple.
